Milan airports Milan has 2 airports: Malpensa and Linate. Malpensa is the main international airport, about 50 km from Milan. It has 2 terminals. Terminal 1 handles most of the domestic and international flights. Malpensa Express train The Malpensa Express train is the most convenient way to travel to Malpensa Airport. It connect the centre of Milan (Cadorna Railway Station) directly with Terminal 1. The trains depart every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Between 21.00 and 6.00 the train is not running but a non-stop bus service. The train also stop at the stations: Milano Bovisa, Saronno and Busto Arsizio. Between the 2 terminals of Malpensa, a free shuttle bus is available every 20 minutes, 24h a day. Malpensa bus and taxi The fee of a taxi to the centre of Milan is about €70.(50km) From Terminal 1 exit6, departs several bus services to Milan. Rates vary between €5 - €9. Usually there are 2-3 buses an hour. The Malpensa Shuttle Air Pullman has services between 05.30 a.m. to 00.15 a.m (€5) Linate Airport is only 7 km from the center of Milan. The taxi fee to the centre of Milan is about €15. Several bus companies have a service to Linate. Cheapest is the public transport, bus 73.
