Bergamo Airport - Milan Central Station
We arrived at Bergamo airport with a Ryanair flight from Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Bergamo airport is named 'Orio al Serio Airport'.
It is quite small and the distance to Milan downtown is about 50 km.(one hour driving)
Immediately after getting out of the plane, we got our luggage and went to the parking lot just outside the arriving hall. Here you will find several buses and taxis. In our plane were about 180-200 people so i expected a crowd waiting for the bus to Milan Station.
But till my surprise the bus wasn't even full.
The bus company is named Terravision.
Bus tickets can be booked online but ot from the Terravision office in the arriving hall at Bergamo Airport.
We bought our bus tickets at Eindoven Airport in the Netherlands where Terravision also had a small service desk.
In 2012 the bus fare for an (online) one-way ticket Bergamo - Milan Central Station is €9.90: a return ticket is €15.
Children between 5-12 years pay €4.95/9.90. Children under 5 years old are free.
Till the latest bus at 01.00, there are 2-3 busses every hour to Milan. First bus to Milan is 4.30 in the morning.
